A highly-anticipated game turned into a boring blowout as Ateneo demolished UE for a convincing 70-50 win in their Final Four matchup today. The Blue Eagles blew the game wide open with a big run in the third quarter while doubling up UE in the fourth, 56-28, for its biggest lead.
La Salle squeaked past FEU in the other semifinal game to forge another dream finals series with archrival Ateneo.
Game 1 of the Finals is scheduled for next Sunday, September 21, at the Araneta Coliseum.
