Globe Telecom sent me a new phone not too long ago. They usually send me one every two years like most others who qualify for their loyalty programs. This is my 12th year with them by the way.
The new phone is nice. But my new plan is way nicer, even better than Platinum. It's pretty much unlimited calls and texts for about Php 1500. The cherry on top? You cannot apply for it. You have to get an invite to avail.
I've been tempted and seduced to migrate to Smart a number of times. But I'm definitely glad I stayed with Globe.

i am on my 12th year too but only on a personal plan (not platinum/business). you think i can ask for a new phone and a plan like that? :D
You should try, you've got nothing to lose anyway.
Besides, Globe launched new solid plans recently. They're similar to the deal that I currently have.
