With the Philippines' penchant for moving national and special holidays to Mondays or Fridays, I've always looked forward to longer weekends. It's always the best time to rest and recharge.
However, I can't say the same about long weekends anymore. Because of yesterday being a national holiday in commemoration of the Feast of Ramadhan, I think I've become a fan of following holidays as they are rightfully scheduled.
I don't know how else to describe it but yesterday's mid-week break was very much appreciated.
