Reality check

Speaking of small talk, I had a nice chat with a couple of operations folks last week. Beyond probing for the exact reasons why, they were busy conjuring up ways to make me stay. They had some pretty interesting suggestions that actually got me thinking. In fact, one was so appealing, I know I'd accept if offered. But I know how it works and the bureaucracy will never allow it.
