Sweet Sixteen Carolina

For the second consecutive game, North Carolina unleashed its high-powered arsenal, topping the 100-point mark with plenty of time to spare. They scored 113 points in their first round win over Mount St. Mary's.

The top-seeded Tar Heels routed Arkansas, 108-77, to move on to the Sweet Sixteen. They will meet (4)Washington State at the East Regional semifinals this Friday at Charlotte.

Wayne Ellington topscored for the Heels (34-2) with 20 points on 67% shooting. Tywon Lawson added 19 points and 7 assists while All-American junior Tyler Hansbrough contributed 17 points and 10 rebounds.
