For the second straight year, North Carolina moves on to the Elite 8.
The Tar Heels, known for it's high-powered offense, displayed an excellent performance on defense, limiting the Cougars to 32% shooting en route to a 68-47 blowout victory. It's the third time in as many NCAA Tournament games that Carolina won by at least 20 points.
They will meet the Louisville Cardinals in the East Regional Finals this Sunday, also at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena where the Tar Heels are 7-0 all time.
